Relaunching as ‘Discovery Showcase HD’ thus placing emphasis
on the highlights from the Discovery Networks portfolio.
With an enriched programming line-up it offers the viewer a single destination to watch all the finest content in HD from across the Discovery Network.
Airing in more than 120 markets across EMEA.
The Challenge
To create a flexible and clear design system to help the audience understand the origin of the content they are watching, whether it be Discovery Channel, Animal Planet, Discovery Science, TLC, ID Xtra or Exclusive content that can only be viewed on Discovery Showcase HD.
The Solution
We created an Identity to reflect the diverse nature of Showcase HD content and retain a clear connection to the channels. To embrace the bigger, brighter, bolder world of Showcase HD we created a colourful and surprising package. The logo contains an iconic ‘A’ character that plays a fundamental role across all elements from promo ends to bumpers. The bold colour coding further underpins content attribution.
