For over forty years, people who love entertainment have recognized HBO as the original – the first and best place to find the world’s most innovative programming. Our new look presentation for HBO Europe needed to embody the core values of the brand and deliver on ‘premium’.
We devised an understated graphic system that complimented the immersive, HBO Europe experience, using the simplicity of light, elegance and fluidity to support the flow of junctions and content. Applying the principles of projection mapping to explore the HBO logo itself, we were able to use light to illuminate each scene and dynamically reveal the logo. Using abstract angles and simple tones we created sequences that are not only beautiful but evoke scale, drama and the premium nature of the HBO Europe brand.
